Lactation Services

I am currently a State of GA licensed IBCLC. I have been providing breastfeeding counseling, education and support since 2012 and breastfed my daughter until she was over 3 years old. I am passionate about helping mother's provide their babies with liquid gold. I am continually educating myself by reading and researching new information as it arises.

One on One Support

Office Visit - $75/1 Hour

(Located minutes from Downtown Dallas, GA at the Dallas Breastfeeding Center)

Office visits are reserved for in-office prenatal, postpartum initial and follow-up consultations, and return-to-work consultations.

Weight Check - $25/30 minutes

Want to get an idea of how much milk your baby is transferring

Phone Consult - $25/30 minutes

While I offer this service for free, many breastfeeding concerns should be handled in person. It is very difficult to determine if there is a true problem over the phone, although I am happy to try.

In-home Consultation - $200/1-2 Hours

* $25 travel fee for consultation over 30 miles away from office

The in-home consult consists of me coming to your home and providing the following services:

Feeding history assessment

Latch and feeding assessment

Latch and position corrections as needed

Discussion on general topics such as but not limited to: maintaining milk supply, sore nipples, growth spurts, and preparing to return to work

In-home Follow-up Consultation - $150/90 minutes

* $25 travel fee for consultation over 30 miles away from office

Sometimes an in-home follow-up consult is needed to ensure that any problems that were identified at the initial consult has been resolved. Additionally, pre- and post feed weights may need to be done in order to ensure milk is being transferred. In rare times, new issues may arise after the initial consult and will be resolved at this visit also.

The Dallas Breastfeeding Center opened January 2019 in Downtown Dallas, GA. Co-owned and operated by IBCLCs Aleah Walker and Jennifer Bergman (of West GA Lactation). In addition to providing in-home and in-office lactation consults, DBC is offering a support group to expecting and new mothers. The focus of the group is to create a safe space for women to meet and network with other moms in the local area.
